Children and young people can be referred for intervention by CAFAP, the Child and Youth Protection Commissions (CPCJ), the Court, public or private entities within the social security, health, education, and justice sectors, any citizen, or their own family.

The admission process can take place at any time of the year, as long as there is a vacancy, and if there is none, the admission process will be maintained on a waiting list.
