Our Activities

Family Intervention
The intervention developed by CAFAP is based on family assessment and the psychosocial risk situation of families. It is implemented through projects or programs structured according to each family’s specific situation. The intervention prioritizes a systemic, intensive, and dynamic approach, which, from a complementary perspective, takes into account proximity, the integrated, and regular nature of the intervention, allowing for a comprehensive view of family structure and dynamics.
Supervised Visits
Family meetings held in the presence of CAFAP technicians, which consist of a space for rehabilitating family ties, when there is a breakup and/or institutionalization of the child/young person.

Parental Training Programs
Programs that address family risk and protection factors, based on educational sessions on various topics relevant to the harmonious development of family dynamics. Sessions can be conducted individually or in groups, at CAFAP facilities, in community spaces, and/or at home.
Supervision of transition moments
Supervision of the child or young person’s transition between the two family spaces, in order to minimize exposure to parental conflict.

Family Mediation
It consists of a neutral and suitable space that aims to establish an agreement that satisfies both parties, leading to minimal judicial intervention.
Psychological Intervention
It consists of establishing emotional balance and promoting capabilities for the healthy development of the child/young person.

Parental Counseling
It is a specialized practice that aims to support parents or guardians in the education and healthy development of their children.
This counseling focuses on fostering parenting skills and resolving difficulties parents may face in their relationships with their children.
